Frequently Asked Questions

​Beginning the Process

When you are ready to begin the process, click the "Contact Us" button to let us know you are interested in partnering with us. If we are available, you will receive a PayPal invoice for your preferred service level (ie: professional resume) amount and any additional items (ie: cover letter).

 

Within 24 hours of your payment, you will receive a brief questionnaire via email to complete in order to provide information about your industry background, experience level and what type of job(s) you are seeking. You will also be asked to provide the most current version of your resume. This will help us select the right resume format for you as well as the right keywords to include that will be picked up by applicant tracking systems. If needed, we will reach out to you with any questions. All information is completely confidential.

Turnaround Time

Resumes are typically delivered within one to two weeks, including revisions, depending on how quickly you respond to your draft and many changes you want to make.

 

We offer a rush option to ensure you receive your final resume within 3 – 4 business days. This service is only available when we can accommodate the request based on our current business volume. Please contact us to see if we are available to accommodate your request. If we are, we will include the rush service fee with your invoice (or send an additional invoice if you have already paid.)

Resume Revisions

Upon receipt of your initial resume draft, you will be asked to provide feedback on your draft resume so that we can prepare your final resume. The more timely you provide feedback, the more quickly we can finalize your resume.

Your final resume will be delivered as a .pdf for uploading to job application websites as well as an editable, recent version of Microsoft Word so you can continue to update your resume in the future if something changes. We also offer a Resume Refresh service for past clients at a reduced rate (unless there are significant changes requiring a complete resume overhaul.)

Coaching & Resume Feedback Service

We proudly offer another service to meet our clients' needs, where we conduct a 30-minute coaching session by phone or video conference to discuss clients' job search and career goals. Upon conclusion of the session, we will provide feedback on your existing resume via the Track changes feature in Word. You may then incorporate this feedback into future iterations of your resume.

 

Please click the "Contact Us" button to let us know you are interested and your availability. If there is alignment in our availability, we will send you a PayPal invoice for this service. Within 24 hours of submitting your payment, you will receive a coaching intake questionnaire to help your coach learn more about you, your coaching needs, and prepare for your session. All information is completely confidential. When you submit your questionnaire, you will be provided with available session times to select from. Your session is generally scheduled within the 3 to 4 business days following the submission of your coaching intake questionnaire. Sessions are generally held Wednesdays, Fridays, and some limited evenings and weekends.

 

Upon conclusion of this service, clients can choose to sign up for additional career coaching or full resume writing services, if desired.

If you would like to discuss the process or your resume in-depth or schedule interview coaching, we would be happy to schedule a phone consultation for an additional fee.

Guarantee

Due to the amount of time and effort required to create and edit these highly customized documents, we cannot offer refunds for any services. However, we want each customer to be satisfied. We will revise any resume and/or cover letter within 30 days of the order date in the event of dissatisfaction.
